Transfer & Adult SOAR Fees

What is the student fee for Transfer & Adult SOAR?

New Student Fee for Students (SOAR fee): $59

There is a new student fee of $59.00 for Transfer and Adult Student SOAR.  You don’t have to pay when you come to SOAR; it is added to your student account when you register for your classes.  The fee cannot be waived, including if you do not show up for your SOAR session, or cancelling your enrollment at UNCG after attending SOAR.

Are meals included with my SOAR fee?

That cost covers parking for SOAR and all of your SOAR materials.

A continental breakfast will be available to you in the EUC after checking-in.

As you check-in for SOAR, we will give you a meal certificate, and that ticket can be used in the EUC Food Court, the Marketplace, Charlie’s, or in the Caf on campus during the course of the SOAR day.

Is lodging provided with my SOAR fee?

No. UNCG’s Adult and Transfer program is a one day program, so housing is not provided for SOAR. If you are arriving the day before, or staying the night of your SOAR session, please check out the following link for hotels in the area.
